Third Grade

1991-92

In third grade, Yohai continued to be interested in wordplay and reading. He learned chess after school and took part in tournaments, and began learning piano. He joined a math enrichment club from school, and at home, was busy learning electricity on a computer program. He collected stamps, chess sets, and turtles. He joined the craze for Ninja Turtles and Dungeons and Dragons. On the Hebrew version of this site are two of his works from this year--a crossword puzzle he made up, and a poem he wrote for Chanukah, perhaps his favorite holiday. He always drew lovely pictures for Chanukah, and played with his collection of tops.
